About Us

Children love singing together, playing percussion instruments, and dancing or listening to a performance. Gross motor activities are done both inside and outdoors. Equipment such as balancing beams, beanbags, balls, trampolines and mats are used.

Committed Teachers

The teacher monitors each child’s development. S/he recognizes and interprets each child’s needs and interests based on their stages of development and personality traits. For ages up to six years, the teacher presents materials and activities that match the child’s developmental needs. It is in the child’s independent use of the materials and activities that learning takes place. The child works at his or her own level and pace.

The Foundation Is Montessari

The Montessori approach is based on a profound respect for the child. Montessori education believes in the necessity to treat children with dignity, trust and patience. Montessori classrooms are constructed specifically to meet the child’s needs at different stages of development. The child`s natural love of learning is respected and emphasis is placed on the importance of learning at one`s own pace. We believe that this will allow children to become rooted, no matter how fluid the world outside is.

An Inspiring Environment

Each classroom opens on one side into a small garden that encourages children to engage all their senses. We believe learning should be experiential. This is facilitated by all the Montessori materials having its own place in the room where it can always be found when not in use. Children are introduced to the materials in an orderly sequence and logical progression to help them develop their capacity for clear thinking. The classrooms have a pool of learning materials comprising interesting language, cultural and historic objects, rocks, minerals, experiments, posters, and books. These objects add to an inspiring and motivating surrounding.
